Spring 2015 Tele-BEARS Advising

Engineering Sciences majors (Engineering Mathematics and Statistics, Engineering Physics, Environmental Engineering Sciences, and Energy Engineering):

The Engineering Science Program will be hosting a GROUP Telebears ADVISING session on…

Wednesday, October 15th, 5:00pm-6:30pm,on the 7th Floor Lobby of Davis Hall.
(*pizza will be provided)

The Spring 2015 online schedule will be going live on Monday, October 6, 2014http://schedule.berkeley.edu/ and Telebears  appointment assignments will also be posted, please check BEAR FACTS  to review when your Telebears appointment times are for Spring 2015.

Please remember that you NEED an ADVISOR CODE to access Phase I Telebears and to sign up for your first 10.5 units.  (Fall 2014 graduating seniors are STILL REQUIRED to obtain an Advisor code to sign up for classes.)

  • To receive a *REQUIRED Adviser Code*, you MUST meet with either your assigned faculty advisor or another faculty advisor who advises your specific major and he or she must review and approve your proposed Telebears form.

NOTE: Simultaneous majors must meet with faculty advisors from both separate majors to obtain their full 4-digit Advisor Code (i.e. you will receive 2-digits from one major and the remaining 2-digits from the second major).

To ensure that advising time is productive and that we can advise you properly, we cheerfully insist that you bring the following documents with you:

  1. An unofficial transcript – You can find and print out from BEAR FACTS/
  2. A completed Telebears Form (for the Faculty to review and write in the AC  code): https://forms.coe.berkeley.edu/current-students/tele-bears-schedule-form
  3. A completed  Degree Check Form appropriate for your major: http://coe.berkeley.edu/students/current-undergraduates/pagewithsidebar.2009-03-24.9443551818

We encourage you to take advantage of this advising session, as most of the ES faculty advisors (Engineering Mathematics and Statistics, Engineering Physics, Environmental Engineering Sciences, and Energy Engineering) will be present to review your schedules and give you your AC codes.

NOTE: If your assigned advisor is not present at the group advising session, you are free to meet another faculty advisor who advises your particular major.

If you cannot attend the group advising night, it is your responsibility to meet with your assigned faculty advisor during their office hours to obtain advising and your AC code.
